All time best excuse...
Today @ 8:35 a.m. I heard my all time favorite no homework excuse...
....clearing my throat...... ahem..... (whiny voice inflection....)
Anthony: "Mrs. Yungggg... I couldn't do my homework, I can't take paper home. "
Mrs. Yungggg: "What are you talking about? Where is it?"
Anthony: "Well, I just can't take paper home anymore."
Mrs. Yungggg: "Why can't you take paper home?"
Anthony: "Well, you see, my dog is allergic to paper."

Have to say... I was damn impressed for a 2nd grader. Usually I am told my least favorite excuse... "my mom forgot to put it in my backpack".
That's creative. Clearly full of it and easily spotted as a fraud, but you have to give the kid credit for trying.
I like that one! It does rank right up there as one of the best...Also..I'm really enjoying frequent blog entries again!!!!
